Description
Crystal breaking out of stone. Slabs of coloured glass erupt through rock, lit from inside, throwing molten orange, electric violet and deep blue across the terrain they have split open. In others the stone itself carries the structure — a fine geometric lattice traced across its faces in glowing nodes and lines, like the crystal’s own diagram surfacing on the rock that formed it.
A geode is an ordinary-looking rock with structure hidden inside. Both halves of this set work that idea: one shows the crystal, the other shows its blueprint.
Modelled, lit and rendered by hand. How far the light bleeds through each slab, where the lattice catches an edge, how quickly the glow falls off before the rock goes black — every one of those is a decision rather than a setting.
Rendered at true 8K widescreen (7680 × 4320, 16:9) for desktop, with seven smartphone-fitted versions at 1848 × 4000 so the composition sits where it should on a phone instead of being cropped to fit. Deep black grounds throughout, so icons stay legible.
