The channel came first. The store happened because people kept pausing videos to ask about the wallpaper behind the keyboard. Enough comments like that and eventually they become a to-do list.

Somewhere on this site is a pack with 27 hand-built variations. The business case ends around twelve. I kept going.

If you're here from a video — yes, this is that wallpaper. It got maybe ten seconds of B-roll. It took three weeks to make. That ratio should probably bother me more than it does.

8K is more resolution than your screen has. It's more resolution than my screen has. The math never mattered. It had to feel excessive, or it wasn't worth making.

Everything ships finished. No premium tier hiding the good version. No subscription holding your files hostage. You buy a thing, you own the thing. A radical concept, I'm told.

Some of what's here I made alone. Some of it with people I met because of the videos. All of it gets the same treatment: rebuilt until the battery bar sits one pixel better. Nobody would have noticed. I would have noticed.

Support is one guy. The same guy from the videos, the same guy who made the file you're emailing about. Complaints reach the factory floor in record time.

I still don't know if this is a smart way to run a store. It's the only way I know how to make things worth keeping.
